Dorothea Puente was a convicted serial murderer in the United States. On January 9th, 1929, she was born in Redlands, California. She maintained a boarding house for older people in the 1980s. She would also deposit their social security checks. She then took the money and cashed it. Furthermore, if her tenants became suspicious, she would murder them. She was accused with a total of nine murders in 1988. She murdered all of her tenants and buried them in her backyard. Dorothea was sentenced to life in prison with no chance of release.
